The best GPU upgrade for M17x R4
Hi,
I want to upgrade my GPU from GTX 660M to something better, i was thinking about GTX 970m. So my question is can i do it? Is my AW compatible with that GPU? Or just tell me what is best upgrade for my AW. But if i can upgrade it can you also post what else do i need with new GPU, i know that new AC is required. And also is my AW compatible with SLI?
My Specs:
PCU: i7 3630QM 2.40 GHz
GPU: GTX 660M
8 GB Ram
Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit
500 Gb HDD

The most that we validated for this systems was the GTX 680m but if you want to upgrade to a better video card you can request further reference in notebook review or in Alienware arena since they are used to modify the systems.

Thanks for answers.
Its possible, i want to put 970m and i need to flash my BIOS to A12 to do it, i saw few forums about it and how to do it. But i am not sure if i need new heat sink for 100W and new AC adapter 240W? Some sites are showing that 970m is 75w and others shows its 81w. How much W does 970m operate with?
