Upgrading Aurora R3 2011 graphic card to R9 280x
So is it possible to make that upgrade?
Or am i looking at a lot of issues due to the bios?
Regret to have purchased this card before reading up on all these restrictions with the R3 Aurora

As for power, should be ok if you have 875w PS.
As for MB/BIOS ... since it's an R3, purchased video card should have dual-video-bios switch or sometimes called Hybrid BIOS. Have to do with Legacy-BIOS and UEFI compatibility.
If you don't have that, well ... just try it and go from there. Try to find my old posts and threads.

I do have 875W power
I am not very good when it comes to anything to do with BIOS, so i couldnt really tell u anything about that.
Do you think if i just remove the old graphic driver, restore bios to optimized defaults, and install the new card, will that possibly work?
Also i have looked into older threads, but nothing really conclusive. Actually you answered some of those older threads.

Yes, that is the way it acts when modes don't match.
You need to toggle switch on video card to other mode-position (Legacy-BIOS vs UEFI-Hybrid).
