WARRANTY A JOKE.

I have an M17X R3 that the warranty is good on until 4-21-13 but when  I try to email or chat online it says I do not have that support. I can call if I am willing to pay, SO WHAT THE <profanity deleted> good is the warranty. THIS WILL BE MY LAST DELL FOR SURE.

Profanity is not allowed on our Forum. Go here and enter your service tag. Then click the warranty tab. What does it state?

I'm also having this issue, 3rd Alienware notebook (and like the OP, will most likely be my last) and have never had such a difficult time trying to get support.

I have the following warranty services: 

ServicesProviderStart DateEnd Date
Complete Care DELL 11/9/2011 11/10/2014
XPS Technical Support DELL 11/10/2012 11/10/2014
Next Business Day Support QLX 11/10/2012 11/10/2013
and I try chat and get this message: 8078.Capture2.JPGSo I try email since I don't want to pay for phone support and get this:

How in the world do I contact support (or am I just forced to use the fee-based support now)??

The above post indicates that the computer has warranty. In case of a hardware issue you need not pay anything and we will fix it for free. However, I request you to provide the system service tag through private message. I can confirm the warranty status. Do let me know if you are facing any issues currently.
