Warranty policy

I bought my Alienware 18 (< Admin note: removed as per privacy police. >) about 3 weeks back and on the dell site it says that my warranty will expire in Feb 2016, which is less than  a year from now.

To make matters worse, I'm not even allowed to chat with support because apparently the laptop model was created in mid 2013 and they dont handle support for models that old! 

I've paid a *** of alot of money and would love to be treated fairly and get the proper warrantly on a brand new laptop!

Is there anyone from support who can help with this?
