Weird sound from laptop
So my alienware 17 just came in yesterday. At first its all normal and then this weird noise starts coming out of the Klipsch speaker on the bottom of the laptop(it has klipsch tag on it). Its a repeating high pitch sound and it just repeats it self. not very loud noise but very annoying and creepy. pls help

Hi,
Can you test with headphones to confirm if you also hear the noise? Did it come in yesterday from the repair facility or new from the factory?

Hi
I tested with my headphone and I tried with speakers via bluetooth connection. if i use headphones and other speakers the weird sound does not come out at all.

Hi,
Thanks for confirming this. Make sure your system us running the latest Bios firmware, click here for Bios the download link. Try reinstalling the audio driver. Click here for the driver download link. Uninstall it from Device Manager first, then restart the system and install it again.
