What cables do I need to connect alienware area 51 r2 stock 850 w psu to a new motherboard (asus x99 micro ATX). The problem seems to be the cpu power connection which is 8 pin, but the stock psu section for cpu is two 8 pin connection which goes from t

the original x99 mthrbrd has a top CPU 8pin + bottom GPU 8pin; if your mthrbrd does not have auxiliary GPU power then lay bottom GPU 8pin cable aside
