What machine and configuration would you suggest?
Hi, I'm looking to purchase a new computer. I play Dungeons and Dragons Online, use itunes, store my digitals photos, surf the web, and check email on my system. I'd like to spend around $1500 or less. Can you suggest a system and configuration that would give me the best possible machine for my money? I'm not sure what components are most important, and what will allow me to stay within my budget. Thanks so much for your help!

Checkout the Studio XPS8000. I took their top system, added an upgraded video card, dual opticals, and a surge protector giving $1330. This system should meet your requirements.

Go for Alienware Aurora starting only $1,199. And It has everything you need under $1500.
The only thing you should upgrade is the power supply from 525W PSU to 875W Power Supply ($80).
3GB Memory to 6GB ($50). If you add those two it comes out to be $1,329 before tax.
Includes mouse and keyboard... and It has integrated sound card which is fine, unless you want to add one.
And if you're not in a rush, wait and catch a sale..and buy one..you'll save more and get more!

Save yourself some potential grief and dont buy either. If you look on the forums, you'll see that Dell has had supposed major issues with Alienware and XPS8000 builds and shipments.
