Windows 10
Hey guys, I currently have the Aurora R4 fully loaded meaning 32 gig SSD and HDD to graphics cards fully loaded.
I just got a notification about a free upgrade to Windows 10. This has appeared on several my computers here at home. I am concerned because I noticed on the drivers you only support up to Windows 8. Are you planning on supporting Windows 10 as well?
I think this would be a good thread as well to get feedback on it

We might release drivers for this system but we cannot confirm until the official release on July 29.

Well that is what worries me. If you're not sure you're going to release drivers for this new system and I could wind up with a partial disabled system for lack of drivers

It won't be a partial disabled system, if it has Windows 8 drivers, it will work fine.. And any drivers that do cause issues, you can get from the original hardware manufacturers depending on your parts (Intel, NVidia, AMD, Realtek, Creative, etc.).
I'm not sure if Command Center 3.5 has been tested by anyone on Windows 10 TP, but all those other drivers will be updated by the original companies behind them.

Well that's good to know, I was doing some research after I got the notification about the free upgrade for Windows 10 and had difficulties finding manufacturers that were going to support Windows 10.
I have the Aurora R4 completely loaded 32 gig of memory 1 TB SSD 3 TB HDD AMD graphics cards two and a course the Intel processor i7-3820 CPU @ 3.60GHz. I hate to have a system crash on me because of an upgrade. I don't have any update drivers for Windows 8 only because I'm running Windows 7. The previews for Windows 10 looks pretty cool.

Your having difficulties as a lot of drivers aren't released yet. Some have started (AMD, NVidia, and Intel), but not every manufacturer has released drivers. Windows 10 isn't final yet.

So in July, when I get the free update you think the manufacturers will have the drivers ready to go.
I'm leaning more towards now waiting until all the drivers are finalized before I install it. I might have to pay for windows, my understanding, the Windows 10 free upgrade is only good for a year. I would think the manufacturers would have the drivers ready to go by then.
