Windows 8.1 Recovery Disc not in my Area 51 R2 shipment...
I noticed another poster had multiple discs when his Area 51 R2 shipped. So I inquired what the red looking Disc was and he informed me it was a recovery/reinstall disc of WIndows 8.1. Was I suppose to receive this disc and if so how do I go about getting it?

You can check your invoice to see if you were supposed to get a recovery disc.
However, if you still want one, you can either contact Dell or fill out the Recovery Media Request Form (provided that you live in either Canada or the US).

GAME7A1 thanks for your response. I have this one item listed.
619-AGCT WIndows 8.1 (64bit) English
If this is the disc I speak of I did not receive this. Can you confirm whether or not that part references an actual physical disc?

That just refers to your OS. The recovery thing should look something like this,
Windows 8.1 USB OS Recovery(English)
It looks as if your order did not include a recovery disc.

So is it something I can still request? I had an Aurora R1 and Aurora R3 and both came with Windows Discs. My only concern would be if I had to format because Alien Respawn failed. I have no operating disc so I couldn't reinstall.. What would be the difference as far as whether I was suppose to get a disc or not? I ask because other Area-52 R2 purchasers seem to have received disc. I appreciate all the help and information.

It is odd that you didn't get the recovery disc. But yes, it still is something you can request. Just fill out the form I linked earlier.

I received a red recovery disc, i didn't specify one I believe it should be the same for everyone
