X51 R3 Graphics Card Upgrade
So I recently upgraded my X51 R3 stock 745 graphics card to a PNY GTX 970. I had to get a 330w psu as well but it works pretty well. However, when I play Witcher 3, sometimes the game will freeze (but sound continues). Can't use task manager or anything. Again, this only happens SOMETIMES. I was wondering if there were any modifications I can make to the card using Afterburner to help it perform better (over clocking maybe) or if someone would recommend a different graphics card.
I am new to using desktops so I am not very tech savvy when it comes to tweeking and modding settings.

Hi,
Are you running the latest drivers for the GTX 970 card? Does this only happen when you play the Witcher 3?

I am so new to this that I don't even know how to check if I have the latest drivers for the card. It came with an installation cd that I think downloaded the latest drivers for me but I'm not sure.
I have only tried Witcher and Skyrim since I installed 970. Skyrim runs great and Witcher was good other than the occasional freeze.

Download the latest drivers from below and choose option during install to clean out previous drivers under advanced option.
