X51 R3 Graphics Upgrade
Hey guys. I just got an X51 R3 this past week and it came with a GTX 745 4GB instead of the GTX 960 2GB I see Dell is shipping with them. Long story short, I bought mine through www.purchasing power.com with my job however the machine came directly from Dell to me. Which 960 card can I buy to upgrade? The Best Buy near me has a 960 GTX FTW but the box says it takes 400w and from my understanding my X51 only has a 325w. Will this card work in my X51?

I also just purchased the same model with the GTX 745 but want to upgrade to a GTX 970. Just curious on if all I will need is the 330W PSU since my system shipped with a 180W PSU?

My guess is that you'll want one with the reference cooling design since the case is unique to Alienware. I bought mine with a GTX 960, and these look similar and should work provided you have a 330W PS:
