alienware r3 does it support only 3Gb/s ??? or 6Gb/s
hi everyone ive got a r3 desktop and ive recently put a agility ssd 120 gb hard drive in also a 1 tb normal hard drive and there both on my sata 3 ports im running them in ahci but im not getting very good benchmarks any help would be more than welcome

thanks kel i know the first bays are the sata 3 controllers and there both connected to them but on the r3 are they 3gbs or 6 gbs and if they are ony 3 could i buy some kind of add on for my pc as my ssd is a agility 3 120 gb and my read and right speed are going by comparisons 3gbs

The first two bays are 6 and the others are 3.

I think you misread what KelC said.
Kel said only the first 2 bays are 6gbs, the others are 3gbs.
Which means you need to connect the SSD (ideally to Bay 1) to bay 1 or 2 for 6gbs Sata 3.
