I emailed dell back in either october or november. But somehow, I sort of fixed it but there are still dust inside the screen. Then today, someone phoned me to send my laptop inside the box they will send me to fix it for me. I'm wondering if this is from the actual dell since they called pretty late and they didn't say they're dell in the beginning until I asked them in the end .
Please tell me if this is how the hinge problem is getting fixed. Also, how long does it take to fully fix and send it back to me after I send it to them.
Did you contact us per this document to setup the hinge repair? If yes, they would have provided to you some sort of dispatch or order number. Send me those and your service tag number in a private message. I am not sure how long it takes to fix and send it back to you.
