i was wondering if anyone has received the new m11x laptops yet?

i was just going to ask this question.... I would like to know how fast you get it.. I bet LOTS of people are ordering this...

You got: 4GB Dual Channel DDR3 at 1066MHz   ( I thought it only came with 800 mhz???? ) thats what it says on the webpage.

I might get one. But the only difference I would get is a bigger harddrive and probably the 8 GB ram..

markTrav, when i ordered it the website said the 4gb was at 800mhz but the final run down from dell said the 1066mhz, so I'm not sure what will be in there.also i screwed up when ordering.i meant to get the 500gb hard drive. with all the delays and such there's no way I'm going to cancel and reorder. I'll just get an external hd.i already got an external dvd drive , that came like 2 days after i ordered it.

Mine is supposed to be here 3/4/2010.  I will let you all know if i get it.

you also got 1066MHz ram.. i wonder if it now comes with that.. hmmm.

I wanted 4GB, but I will upgrade later. I am already going to throw in an OCZ 60Gb SSD.   I did not want the 4GB addon to slow down my delivery.

I just received notice that my laptop has been shipped.....

sweeeeeeeeeeet. when you get it, can you check to see if you got 800mhz or 1066mhz ram with it?? the websites posts 800 but your information above says 1066

My MX11 is amazing for its size.  It does have 1066MHz Ram.   I am going to love this machine!

I checked the manual, did you try the function key and f2 , that controls the battery charge enable/disable function. i hope it was something as simple as this.

Function Keys
NOTE: Depending on the configuration of the laptop you purchased, some of the function keys may have no associated tasks.
The key is located near the bottom-left corner of the keyboard, and is used together with other keys to activate certain functions. Hold down the key along with the key described below:
F1 — Extend Desktop
Press to switch between the various external display options available either simultaneously or separately.
F2 — Check Battery Status and Battery Charge Disable/Enable
Press to toggle between the Battery Status Meter, Battery Charge Disable feature, and Battery Charge Enable feature.
F3 — Wireless Control - Switch wireless communications on/off
Press to enable or disable the wireless function.
F4 — Increase Display Brightness
Press to increase the brightness of the display
