M17X Speakers?!?!? Whats wrong with them?!?!?
OK my M17x that I have had since june is now making my speakers mess up pretty badly. I'll turn off volume and Its on max blast and the people in the skype call can hear it too. This happens at least once a week, Like seriously I paid $1900 For this laptop I expect it to not have problems like this!!!!!

The same noise that I am hearing thats coming from my speakers.

All the sound is whatever I hear but full blast and distorted a bit........... Thats all

I have the same issue. I have an m17x r4 and have had it for 2 months and in the past day I have had the speakers start clicking and no other sound comes from the speakers. I have the Creative sound blaster recon3di. I had to reinstall the driver and it worked last night. I started up skype and in the middle of a conversation the speakers stopped and there was nothing but noise coming from the speakers. I too paid a high price and this issue is not resolved.

Do you hear the clicking noise when you use headphones too?
What BIOS version are you running?
When the issue starts happening, if you check the "Device Manager" do you see the creative sound blaster driver installed?

So are you playing music or what during skype? I need to know exactly what your doing, running, etc.
