what does dell initialize own ssd 256gb(gpt or mbr)?
dell initializes own ssd's alienware r4 with GPT or MBR?
i bought ssd plextor m8peg 256 and my alienware has 1tb hdd already and is gpt.

Windows 7 and up with Secure boot UEFI bios MUST HAVE GPT.
MBR is for WIN98 DOS FAT32 which windows 7 will not do on a UEFI system.
MBR INT 13 DOS is not supported at all anymore.

speedstep is right. forget MBR. especially with Windows 10.

alienware 17 R4 with ssd has been initialized with gpt? (i want to optimize my ssd like dell optimized originally)
alienware has win home 10 64bit
does mbr increase life cycle of ssd?

right. just don't worry about it. install windows and it will automatically pick the right stuff for you.
