15 R3, FPS drop
Hello, I bought this alienware laptop 2 years ago.
since i bought it, everyday i had it i had to search for methods online to reduce fps drop and to make my fps better. EVERY DAY.
since i bought this "gaming" laptop, I have never had stable FPS or good FPS even with games easy to run, Like minecraft and fortnite, I get max 20 fps on those.
Its a GTX 1060 i7- 7th gen.
Please i need help, This really doesnt show a good image of dell or alienware to my eye.

Check and see what your power setting is set at. See if its set to high performance. If not, could just be an issue with your unit. my 15 R3 with the 1070 works fine

It has always been set at high performance, I just want to know how to fix this

Aside from Bios setting, and driver updates, if your having an issue, try a clean OS install, if it still persists there was something wrong with your unit from the beginning. When I bought mine, my unit had an issue with the original AC Cord. Dell tech connected and ran some tools, fixed the AC power from cutting off and then they sent me a whole new AC unit. Besides that, my 15 R3 with the i7 7700HQ with a 1070 has been flawless.
