Hey guys!
So I recently got 980ti and want to install it in my Aurora r4. After installing my the 980 my display always goes out when I get to the windows log in screen. Sometimes I can get into windows and try to reinstall drivers then it happens. I've been using my old gpu and trying to install the drivers then power off the machine and switch the gpu. But still the same results. Does anyone have any suggestions? I will pre face this by saying I'm an idiot lol. I feel like I have to just be missing something.. Also the first time I installed the gpu everything was fine. Then I went to update my drivers and haven't been able to get it to work since.
Assuming you plugged in all the required power plugs then it is possible the PSU, being between 7 and 8 years old, cannot supply adequate power to the GPU.
