AGA, 5600 XT and GTX 2060, is the noise normal?

Hi

I have an AGA (Alienware Graphics Amplifier) and well I have an issue.

By the way, the 5600 XT simply it doesn't work with AGA. RX2060, on the other hand, works well with AGA, albeit is slightly higher than the AGA so you cannot close properly the box.

The issue is that both cards make a weird noise when they are working.

I am not speaking about the typical fan noise, but they make a noise like an old HDD. It's a tiny sound like when you stretch a wooden chair. So I am not sure if its the GPU of the PSU of the box.

Is this normal?

Make a video of the noise. It could be the power supply because if a power supply starts clicking like a HDD then it’s bad.

Thank you very much for all your help :).

Unfortunately, I cant record it. Yes, I have used my phone to make a video and I have used a audio recording apo, but the recorded audio does not represent accurately the sound I am hearing.

Thank you very much!

I bought it from a third party (they don´t sell it directly to Finland).

And yes, its the PSU. I have dismounted the PSU and the sounds comes from it.

Great experience ... thanks you were here.

Hi

As far as I am reading apparently the unacceptable noise of AGA PSU is normal. This is by far my worst purchase ever. So apparently this can only be solved by purchasing a new PSU.

Have you ever experience those sounds in the AGA?
