Hi I have an alienware 15r3. I plan on buying a new ssd. But I have been reading about all ssd's and it says that only Sata are compatible with this alienware 15R3. Or the other way around that NVme are or both. So I was wondering are these 2 ssd's compatible with my alienware or which one of them is? Or what is the best options for me to buy.
1) Samsung 970 EVO 500 GB V-NAND M.2 PCI Express Solid State Drive - MZ-V7E500BW
2)Samsung 860 EVO 500GB M.2 SATA SSD/Solid State Drive -MZ-N6E500BW
We cannot guarantee that those SSDs will work since some users have reported problems with the EVO brand SSDs. The system can support SATA and NVme, you can check out this thread to view the validated M2 SSD list for this system.
