Alienware 17R3 Video doesn't come on after sleep with Fall Creators patch installed

I've got an Alienware 17R3, and since the Fall Creators patch was installed, the system doesn't wake up properly from the sleep state.  The system seems to power up ok at wake up, but the video never comes on.  The only way to get the video back is to unplug the laptop, and hold down the power switch until the system shuts down.  Once you turn it back on, the video is fine.  Anyone else having this problem, or know how to fix it?  Uninstalling the Creator patch seems like it'd only be a work around, since MS will likely release more patches that depend on the Creator update being in place.

Thanks!

Re: Alienware 17R3 Video doesn't come on after sleep with Fall Creators patch installed

I'd suggest you roll back the Fall Creator update. After, enter service tag number (or use Detect PC) onto the link below.

Support | Dell US

In your Dell Product Support page, download / run Chipset and Video drivers in correct order.

How to reinstall drivers in the correct order | Dell US

Or...

Select Detect Drivers in your support page. The Dell utility will search drivers( Chipset, Video) and firmware for the system. After, install Fall Creator again, hopefully sleep problem is resolve.
