I have this brand new G3 3590 laptop with a grinding fan.
I received my laptop on Nov 26.
I opened a case with customer support and they're telling me the fan is B/O and might not be received before December 23.
First, not having a single fan is stock is weird.
Second, it's even more weird to have a delivery date that near to the 30 days return policy.
Can I have an extension for that period (30 extra days for return if anything) or if I feel this might be an ongoing issue just straight return the laptop and order a new one?

Dell will not give you a extra 30 day return extension however, Dell will honor the 1 year warranty on the computer hardware. I'd suggest you quickly return the computer and demand your money back or get another brand new Dell computer. Please make sure it isn't a refurbished computer.
If they don't speed the process for the fan repair for like next week, I'll ask for a RMA and return the computer and ask for a brand new one.
