Different price for same type of RAM

Hi, I'm thinking of buying a laptop, Alienware 17, and when I am configuring my RAM I see 2 types, with the same specs, but different prices, and I am wondering why is that? It looks something like: 16 GB DDR4 2.666 MHz, up to 32 GB (additional memory available separately) - € 86.41 16 GB DDR4 2.666 MHz, up to 32 GB (additional memory available separately) ( This is currently selected ) Thanks.

Re: Different price for same type of RAM

Just a hunch but is the included in price choice shown as 16GB and the optional shown as 16 GB 2x8? That would account for the price difference. In the US the same difference occurs for the reasons stated.

Re: Different price for same type of RAM

It's not mentioned unfortunately, because I would go with 16GB in 1 piece, and not 2, so I can upgrade at a later time.

(I'm in Belgium btw)
