Drive migration. What software should I use?

I just bought a refurbished Alienware 15 R3, and I notice the boot times are a bit slow. I then saw my OS is in the drive with 930 GB. If it's quite enough, I can barely hear the HDD spinning. I only migrated an OS once and from what I can tell, each migration software works for specific brands of drives.

In short, how do I migrate my OS in this computer from my HDD to SSD?

Although there are vendor-specific migration tools, most of them are not that way. Macrium Reflect Free is a popular imaging/cloning tool because it’s fairly easy to use and has excellent documentation for people who need it.
