Atmos Evaluation

It seems there is a kind of deadlock in case you would like to expore Atmos APIs:

1- New ATMOS developer online accounts are down, and they seem to be like this fo months (from the forum questions)

2- If you decided to use Atmos Evalution Edition (AEE) image, then this requires ESX 4.0+ installation from Vmware.

3- You can NOT download the trial version of ESX 4.0/4.1 since it always directs you to ESXi 5.0, which does work with Atmos AEE

4- Opensource ESX 4.0/4.1 packages from Vmware  are just for opensource policy purposes, and do not respresent a full solution

5- Geodrive SDK for example requires an Atmos online account or AEE

Is this deadlock for a reason, or how does EMC expect Atmos AEE to be tested?

Thanks

Unfortuately right now to use AEE you will need ESX4 and it sounds like you don't have that right now.  We are addressing support issues with ESX now.

Let me work with you offline to get you access to our API's in the interim.

Also look for our Atmos Online Service to be available again soon.

Thanks.

What do you mean by API here, is it the Atmos SDK bindings which we download from ECN?

By API I mean our Atmos APIs for example simple CRUD of objects in Atmos.  We offer bindings in our SDK as you mentioned to help integration of your application with our APIs.
