Port 443 Access When Using ATMOS Cloud Delivery Platform (CDP)

Hi,

Does anyone know how we can access ATMOS using Port 443 not Port 80 when the ATMOS is deployed using CDP?

Thanks.

Are you talking about customer accessing Atmos for access to Data?

If so then we normally terminate the HTTPS session on the load balancer that is sat in front of the CDP nodes.

Re: Port 443 Access When Using ATMOS Cloud Delivery Platform (CDP)

Hi Darren,

Essentially we're looking at storage access using a StorSimple Appliance connected to the MTI ATMOS.

StorSimple doesn't allow Port 80 access I believe, and CDP only supports Port 80.

Essentially, we need to achieve Port 443 access to integrate the StorSimple appliance with ATMOS delivered via EMC CDP.

Thanks,

Dave.

Hi Dave,

Yes just terminate the HTTPS tunnels on the load balancer that will be in front of the CDP nodes then you put less load on the CDP nodes.

Trying to understand --- StorSimple uses the Atmos REST API.  Using ACDP should be inconsequential as to how applications including StorSimple access Atmos.
