One of my customer is using 18.1 on four Avamar servers and it's working as expected till now. All Avamar servers were updated from 7.4.1 and no issues during the update process.
Is there any news on allowing different users ( like backup only , restore only or backuprestore only) users to access the HTML version. I think currently they have allowed any local or AD user with administrator privilege to log into the HTML version.

Good to hear ;D
Is the new web gui usable for admins, or is mcgui still the one to use?

If I recall correctly, the HTML5 GUI in 18.2 won't quite reach feature parity but they're aiming to hit the majority of use cases.

New HTML5 GUI is better than in 7.5.1 but still not as full replacement of Java (mcgui). I hope the upcoming release 18.2 will be again better :-)
