Avamar 6.1 backing up Verint Impact 360 ver. 11.1.
Does anyone have experience in integrating Verint Impact 360 into an Avamar environment.
The Verint manual insists that it's SQL databases be backedup in a specific order, and this doesnt seem to fit very well if we were to use the SQL client plugin.
i can see from older documents that EMC had tight integration backing up this application to Centera.
I would think that the SQL plugin would put the databases in a consistent state and backup the databases in that state. Backing up databases one at a time in a specific order doesn't seem to be a good idea. It implies the databases are backedup at a different point in time, and this is needed for data integrity according to the Verint doc.
I'm new to Avamar, so take it easy on me.
