Avamar 7.4 vcenter sync question
We are using VM tagging and I have a question about when Avamar sync's with vcenter...
You can do a vcenter resync manually then check the rules are being matched.
how does sync work in relation to on-demand backups and scheduled?
We had an issue today where an on-demand backup group didnt pick up a new VM with a tag....

Can you take a screen shot for VM tagging policy, on-demand backup group that uses the tagging policy and the new VM with that tag.

I cant send a screenshot unfortunately. I've set the rules via tagging at the vcenter client level.
Just need to know how does sync work in relation to on-demand backups and scheduled?

the issue seems to be based around the fact that Avamar by default only sync's with vcenter every 12 hours. This isnt great tbh so we will change the mcserver.xml parameter auto_resync_vc_interval_minutes to 15 and not 720 which is the default.
