Avamar produces a report card that shows failed backups from the previous evening. However, if for some reason a scheduled backup does not kick off, it is not considered a failure, therefore it is not listed. The issue that this causes, is that if a backup fails to start for a period of time, there is no reporting that will show this situation. It is not considered a failure, since the backup job did not technically fail. I am looking for a way to identify it when a scheduled job does not kick off.
