Avamar & OS Patch level
Does anyone know the commands to identify the patch levels for both Avamar and the OS?
From the commandline...
Thanks

Since Avamar is an appliance build on top of linux,you wouldn't need to keep a track of the linux patches. The best way to see if you are OK with the hotfixes needed for the avamar's internal components is to run the proactive healthcheck and see the hc_results file . You may also open a support session with EMC and they can guide you do it.

cat /etc/SuSE-release && grep -E "(\"version\" value=(.*))" /usr/local/avamar/var/mc/server_data/prefs/mcserver.xml

On a avamar Grid @ 7.0.2-47 I get this ::--->
grep -E "(\"version\" value=(.*))" /usr/local/avamar/var/mc/server_data/prefs/mcserver.xml
What does 7.0.2.6.0 signify?
Thanks!
