Avamar RAIN (Multinode) Degraded (not Green Color)

Hi,

Recently In installed Avamar Multi node Avamar Server and when I check Avamar Administrator Console Server --> Server Monitor, all the nodes color was gray (not Green). Please find the screenshot below.

However the dpnctl status was all success

Please suggest.

Try checking the output of status.dpn

Check MCS  probably it could not communicate with Data Domain

Hey,

Please try to restart MCS service.

#dpnctl stop mcs

#dpnctl start mcs

If the problem still appeared, please post the output of status.dpn

Hey,

Looks the nodes status is normal. But you can see these message from  the output of status.dpn.

"Last hfscheck failed with results MSG_ERR_NOLICENSE".........

The point is no license.

So, I guess you did not input a normal license. That is why the nodes are grey on Avamar GUI.

If you don't have normal license, please contact local EMC sales.

If you have normal license, but you don't know how to generate the license and input to Avamar server, please contact EMC for assistance.
