Backup & Recovery Manager


We recently installed the Backup & recovery Manager product. We have the Avamar Adapter configured, however we do not get any information in the activies page. We do get alerts from tha avamar grids and the capcity is reporting correctly. Does anyone have any idea why the nightly backups do not show up in the activies page?

We have about 100 backups that run nightly plus replication activity. The weird thing is, if I manually run a backup, it will appear in the activity screen, The 1st image is what I saw when I came in. The 2nd image is after manually running a backup.The activity screen seems to update, as long as I'm logged into the BRM dashboard.

Have you run any backup jobs? can you take a screenshot?

Can you get the job information on the activity detail window?

I would recommend opening a service request for this issue.

No. There is no information in that screen either.

I'd suggest you could follow the EMC Backup & Recovery Manager Release 1.0 User Guide and review the installation and configuration first.
