DPSearch - Pre-Install task: get the total number of index records from Avamar.
Dear all,
as part of the pre-requisites for designing a DPSearch solution, we need to get the total number of index records DPSearch is going to collect for the first time in order to dimension the disks for ElasticSearch storage (Data Index node).
This number of records is really easy to get from a Networker server (nsrls command will give you the number of index records plus the space occupied for each client on Networker index directories), but from Avamar I could not find a simple way to get that.
Any experience, suggestion or idea on how to deal with this?

It might help readers if you try to translate the terminology you're using in an Avamar context.
What would you consider to be an 'index record'? A single backup, perhaps..?

Exactly NR, unfortunately I do not know what Avamar consider as an "index record", so that would be great feedback to answer the question and help with the sizing calculation.
