Microsoft SQL restore from MSSQL server
Hi guys,
Is there any way to restore MSSQL DB from Avamar Backup from the SQL server it self? Or this can only be done from the Avamar Administrator?

SQL plugin restores can be initiated command line/client side and same can be wrapped as a SQL job.
However, it's not a direct SQL restore and you need to authenticate with Avamar for the same.
Do you use a Data Domain with Avamar. If yes, if has DDBMA plugin available that can direclty backup from SQL to backend Data Domain with no requirement of a backup software.
