Need to temp [ stop | kill ] maint / blackout
Need a bit of help....
Need to find out how to temp [ stop | kill ] maint / blackout....
We are currently on a SRT for a possible bad SAN...
And will need to have all available capacity for restores...
Over a 100 clients will possibly need to be restored...
How can this get done via either the command line or Java Console?
Thanks....

Hi Joe,
If you want to suspend the gc / blackout window, you can do it via command line:
avmaint sched suspend gc --ava --permanent
Once your restore activity is done, you can simply replace "suspend" with "resume". Or if you need to kill currently running GC, run the following:
avmaint --ava gckill
