Retention tagged as "N" - what is the actual retention ?

Hello,

If i run on-demand backup it gets tagged as "N",  so when does this backup expire ? Does it use "Default Retention" values, 60 days in my case ?

That means no tag, I believe all On-Demand backups are No tag backups.  Your retention is based only on what you set it to when you did the backup (default of 60 days).

I have found a workaround for this if you're interested.  Uncheck override basic retention, set the retention period to whatever you want your daily retention set for, then check override basic retention again. It will still mark the on-demand backup as N, but will have the correct daily retention applied.

I've been fighting this issue myself for a long time...can't seem to get anyone to realize this is a problem!  Good luck!
