Storage node replacement with Chasis swap
Hi We have come across one issue in our environment,we have a battery failure on one of storage node which is Gen2.now this storage node has to be replaced with chasis swap.My question is doe's this storage node replacement requires any rebuild of the storage node or...simply hardware replacement would help?

Gen2 hardware has reached end of service life. If there are no replacement parts available locally, the node will have to be replaced by rebuild. You may also have to pay time and materials for the hardware. I would recommend getting in touch with support to discuss the details.

Are you sure it is really a battery fail?
I seem to recall there was a bug where the batteries would report failed when they were not.
You might want to search EMC support for it.
