how do you add an avamar system to backup & recovery manager

I have backup & recovery manager v1.2.1-13 and added our current (at the time) avamar systems to it during initial install, but there are no instructions on how to add new avamar systems to an existing install, also we have add networker also and no documented way to add it either. Please provide instructions if possible

The procedure for adding an Avamar system to BRM 1.2 is covered on page 67 of the BRM User Guide:

I just installed v1.3 and attempted to get the release notes and the users guide but am getting not authorized for your link above or page not found from the emc support site for Backup/recovery downloads.

Can you help?

Please try clearing your cache and cookies or opening the site in an Incognito / Private Browsing window.

when running the msgbrokerctl.pl we get "ERROR null"

mcserver.log looks to show a "certificate generation error"

any ideas here?

the initial test was from an avamar system running 7.3

Just tried from a 7.4 system which has some security patches. Got error:

ERROR: Unable to get signed client certificate from

avamar and brm hosts are in the same network and no blocks that we can see from the firewalls.

Make sure you're running with the latest rollup hotfix for Avamar Administrator Server.
