how to restore AIX OS by Avamar system
Hi All,
I'd like to restore AIX operation system by Avamar.
Do you have any procedures for this task?

Hi Dennis,
Just to be sure I understood your question correctly, are you looking for a procedure that will help you restore an AIX system (which has been backed up with Avamar) back to its original system state?
If this is what you are asking, the Avamar System Administration guide has a section called "Client system recovery" which discusses client system recovery for Windows, Redhat Linux and Solaris.
At present there are no official, EMC documented procedures for recovering AIX systems backed up with Avamar but you could request this through the RFE (Request For Enhancement) process.
