ndmp setup problem

I'm following the ndmp accelerator node guide...having trouble authenticating to the vnx from the ndmp node keep getting a "authentication error" created an account "ndmp" with a simple password....just cant get it to authenticate...Im going to the ip of the data mover ...ive also tried dns name of the cifs server any ideas??? what is the correct process to create the account on vnx?
