SNMP / WOL on DELL Poweredge 1955 Blades x10 system circa Jan 2008

Hi All,
Does anyone know the correct SNMP OID's for a DELL Poweredge 1955 Blade x10 chassis system for its main thermal and fan sensors? Or an internet resource that provide up to date mib's of the OID's for DELL servers?
Also, has anyone successfully got WOL working on this series of DELL Poweredge 1955 blade servers when fitted with a standard GigE through-put module?
My network is setup correctly to allow Windows Firewall exceptions on UDP ports and SNMP is also setup correctly, yet the DELL chassis and blades don't play nice :-(
Finally, does this series / generation of blade support IPMI?
Thanks,
Mike

The 9th Generation servers (x9xx) support IPMI 2.0. Here's a paper with overview - http://www.dell.com/downloads/global/power/ps3q06-20050317-Zhuo.pdf

MIBs are here - http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/format.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&deviceid=1108&libid=36&releaseid=R214941&vercnt=6&formatcnt=0&SystemID=PWE_1955&servicetag=&os=WNET&osl=en&catid=-1&dateid=-1&typeid=-1&formatid=-1&impid=-1&checkFormat=true

Not sure about the WOL issues - maybe others will chime in.

Thanks Scott, very useful.
I could really do with a DELL guru answering about WOL?
I could also really do with a DELL UK or Europe contact for further discussion on our Poweredge 1955's..Could you recommend how to go about getting in touch?
Thanks,
Mike

I'll ask on one of our internal mailing lists. Let you know if I can find a resource or some pointers on getting WOL working on the blades.

The workaround would be using RACADM or IPMI commands to send the power cycle requests. I'm assuming that was the reason for asking about IPMI.

Just got word back that 1955's never supported WOL. There was a limited amount of power and not enough to support the WOL feature along with all the other features, so it made the short list.

Thanks Scott. Not the answer I wanted to here, but I really appreciate getting a comprehensive series of answers from my questions recently, so thanks very much for your help :-)

Mike
