I have a customer who needs to expand a single volume past 16 disks...Ideally would like to get <20. Customer already has an expansion DAE installed and enabled. Customer is using NaviExpress. Will Concatenation of Disk pools allow this customer to go >16 disks available to the server? What are the best practices?

It's not possible to have a Raid Group of more than 16 disks, but a metaLUN can of course span more RG's, so you could have 20 disks for your meta easily.

Why do you need 20 disks ? Is this because of performance or capacity ?
Is your application read intensive, write intensive or both ?
Do you have Raid10 or Raid5 (or even 6) ?
