Adding DAEs of unknown status to a CX3-80
My counterparts at another location detached a couple of DAEs and sent them to me. I'm not convinced that they removed all of the luns, storage groups, snapview clones, etc properly before shipping. Is there some way to clear the config on the DAE itself before plugging in the backend bus? I was thinking of removing all the drives, but I don't know where the configuration is stored to know if that would help.

The configuration data is stored in PSM LUN which resides in Vault Disk. For more information on the Vault Disks and its content refer to CLARiiON VAULT Disk Contents and Vaulting Operations [link]

So, as long as those DAEs were not DAE/OS, I shouldn't have anything to worry about, am I reading that right?
