Anyone knows if we can still offer data erasure services for CX3/CX4?

Hi All,

I have a customer requesting data erasure for their CX3/CX4 recently.

These arrays are obviously EOSL few years back.

I tried to download the CXClear from support portal but the link is no longer available.

Do we know if we can still offer this erasure services to customer?

Any advice?

From what I remember about the CXClear tool is you need to be a partner/EMC support to get access to the tool.

Go to the support.emc.com site, then under Tools and Site, select E-Lab Advisor - on that page look at the top and select Licensed Tools. If you have access you should see the cxtool listed.

Also, I don't believe the tool support CX4.

Thanks for directing me to the download link.

At least the CXClear tool is still available for me to download.

Yes, for CX4, we need to order the DEKIT. (again I hope its still available to order )

I'm all set for both CX3/CX4 now.
