How do I backup the Clariion Configuration??

We are preparring to have our SAN re-booted due to issue with the Clariion and we were concernced about loosing the SAN configuration. Is there a way to back it up off line in case we loose the primary disks??

A search of the forums pulls up the thread below that should answer your question. That being said is there are particular reason you are concerned about losing the SAN configuration? The configuration data is triple mirrored I believe and is quite safe, I have never heard of anyone losing array configurations before.

Of course now that I said that there will probably be half a dozen replies from people that have lost it... :D

Unfortunatelly we are still on FALRE 14, can SAN copy be leveraged. I am old school and like having backups of everything in hand jsut in case.....that's all

SANCopy is used to replicate data contained on user-created LUNs. The array configuration data is on hidden partitions on the first five drives of the array and is not viewable to the array administrator.
