thanks for the response.

i was looking under the Navisphere directories for the drivers:

Home -> Support -> Software Downloads and Licensing -> downloads J-O  ->  Navisphere Server Software

is there a change in the name for this driver from NaviHostAgent to UnisphereHostAgent ?

the collegue who is teaching me the in and outs is not sure if we can use the Unisphere host agent driver, we have the following driver NaviHostAgent-Win-32-x86-en_US-6.29.5.0.66-1.exe but needed an 64bit driver.

are these drivers compatible NaviHostAgent-Win-32-x86-en_US-6.29.5.0.66-1.exe and the UnisphereHostAgent-Win-32-x86-en_US-1.0.0.1.0474-1.exe?

i don't know if i would refer to these as drivers, these are more like peripheral software ..you can attach to Clariion without this installed but Navi agents make it much easier. You can installed Unisphere agents and they will talk to older arrays without issues.

when trying to use the link to the Navisphere host agent i get an access violation:

The content you are trying to access is unavailable. This content may have expired, the link may be incorrect or you may not be entitled to access it with your account. Click here to return to the Powerlink home page.

can it be a that i have not the rights to see this category of downloads?

still i am not clear of the difference between the unisphere agents and the navisphere agents. can you point me in the direction (documentation) which can give me some more information?

@dynamox:  you are right that these are not drivers but agents. a mistake from my side.

Hello,

I see your looking for documentation, I came accross the following whitepaper on powerlink,  you may already have it, but just in case:

Introducing EMC Unisphere: A common midrange element manager

Hope this helps,
