Random vs. Sequential I/O

Could someone refresh my memory on how I determine whether my application is doing Random or Sequential, and whether it's doing small or big blocks through the Navisphere Analyzer?

What counter or counters do I need to look at in Navi Analyzer?

Look at `cache miss`  and higher rate represents random IOs.
