What is the way I can tell what version or release I am runing?
I have CX3-40F. I need to know what version or release I am running? Does EMC have Serial Number search to see if my hardware is eligble for support?

In order to see FLARE Version : Right Click Over the SP > Click on Properties > If you get any java pop up Click on No, else Click on Software Tab - You will see FLARE OE Environment and Version on the right side.
Normally, CX3-series systems must be running FLARE OE 03.22.xxx.5.yyy or later.
You may contact local sales or support team to check if the array is eligible for support or not! OR you may open a Live Chat for the same.

Hi,
You can find the FLARE release from Navisphere., Log in to the array right click on the array, select Properties ., From properties dialog box select “Software” tab to check the FLARE release ., and to know if your array is eligible for support, you can contact EMC Customer support( please find customer support contact details below) or you may also open a chat in Powerlink, select option “Contract, Warranty, Maintenance Assistance “ from chat service line.

Can someone tell me (or give me link to find) what the maximum version/ level of Flare OE is, that can be upgraded to, on a Cx 3-40f ?

Release 26 P32 is the latest release of code for a CX3 series array
You can get the FLARE Release notes here
