lost all paths to storage after checking remaining paths in navisphere

when i setup my esxi host, I only had 4 paths to a lun. So I went into navisphere and on the properties of the host, under advanced, i saw that 4 paths were unchecked. So I checked those. then I noticed that all my paths from vm to storage were lost and all luns were grayed out. any idea why this happened

tdubb,

Unchecking the paths under advanced should not have removed the paths to the host.  If the host was connected those boxes should have been checked to tell the array that the initiators are to be used.  Try restarting the management server to refresh the UI and then go back into advanced and make sure the initiators are checked.

Any change you make on the array (unchecking the path boxes) MUST be followed by a host reboot. When you change the settings on the array for a path (failover mode, arraycommpath/connection) you must reboot the host.

For a connected array that can see the LUNs, those boxes should have been checked.
